Our central objective is to provide care for those in the community setting and to become a resource for that community.
Through setting and maintaining the highest standards of care on an individualised basis, we seek to achieve the confidence of our residents, their relatives and all care agencies.
These objectives will be achieved by adopting a Total Quality Approach to the delivery of care which will focus on the following areas:

"People first" is the value base shared by all Torr Home staff- it is our philosophy.
Every person as an individual will receive care and every member of staff will deliver that care centred upon this common value base.
Each individual shall be accorded at all times:
- Choice
- Independence
- Privacy
- Dignity
Rights will be protected to ensure the integrity and self respect of every resident.
It is our fundamental objective to ensure that each resident has the opportunity to realise personal fulfilment and, as far as possible, facilitate this to optimise the self esteem of each resident.
It is the duty of the Charity to ensure that all activities and operational policies and procedures are designed and implemented to contribute to and in no way compromise these core values.
Care will be individual and holistic, based on the physical, social, emotional and spiritual needs of the resident. These will be assessed prior to admission, regularly reviewed and delivered by primary nurses within individualised care plans.
