A Premier Plymouth Care Home

Growing and evolving to meet the changing needs of the community.

A Grand Victorian country house with magnificent views, now a residence for the elderly, in 3 acres of grounds, yet situated in the heart of Plymouth.

The Charity started life in 1860 caring for the visually impaired. Torr Home became the operating base of the charity in 1929, still focusing entirely on providing care for the visually impaired.

Torr Home's evolutionary approach to caring means always keeping abreast of changes as well as embracing and adopting any new standards introduced in the Care Sector.
